Amazing Eiger Ultra &Top finishers UTMB series – Episode 8
Another exciting Ultra Trail World Tour episode takes us into the Alps – first on the scenic Eiger Ultra Trail in Switzerland, a very demanding 101 km race with 6700 m D+ climb followed by a unique introduction to the top finshers in the 3 main races of the UTMB week : the TDS – 145 km and 9100m D+, the CCC – 101 km and 6000m D+ and the famous UTMB race – 170 km and 10 000 m D+.

The Frozen Road – The Film
Self-shot and edited whilst cycling around the world, this film charts Ben Page’s winter journey into the Canadian Arctic as he completed his bike ride up the American continent. Compelled by Jack London’s assertion, that ‘any man who is a man can travel alone’, He sought an adventure of perfect solitude. ‘The Frozen Road’ is an honest reflection on his solo trip; of the wonder, terror and frustration he experienced when riding through the unforgiving emptiness of one of the world’s ‘last great wildernesses’. 

3 Nightmare Cycling Climbs – not for the faint hearted!
Patrick Martini together with Emiliano Cantagallo, two Italian pro cyclists take you on  three of the toughest and most famous cycling climbs in Italy – in the Friuli Venezia Region in the Carnic Alps. The first climb is the Zoncolan, a 10 km ride with 1200 m of vertical climb, and average incline of 11.4% and a max incline of 22%. The second climb is the Stentaria, a brutal 7 km ride with 1100 m of vertical climb, an average incline of 18% and a max incline of 31% ! The third climb is the Mount Crostis, a 14.5 km ride with a vertical climb of 1550 m, an average incline of 9.5% and a max incline of 19%. You will be breathless……

Cliffside Route To Secret Valley
Welcome to the beautiful town of Riva on the famous Lake Garda – the mountain bike capital of the Dolomites. We take you on a 18 km trek on an abandoned road along the cliffs of Lake Garda and into the Ledro Valley among hikers and mountain bikers of all levels. The scenery is fantastic, the town gorgeous and the famous Varone Falls worth visiting. You will love it!

Salomon Golden Trail World Series 2019
Round 6, Ring of Steall Skyrace, Scotland

Our race route covers 29 km with 2500 meters of climbing across the Mamores, which are an east – west series of majestic Munros (Scottish Mountains over 3,000ft / 914m) and in this route there are four that will be summited. This race includes mountain running, scrambling along mountain ridges (Devils’ Ridge) with steep ascents, traverses and descents on technical and challenging terrain with amazing views of Glen Nevis and Ben Nevis towering above.

This Way Up
This Way Up is a ‘broken’ man’s journey by bike through his homeland, Scotland. Andy McKenna, mountain biker since the 1980’s and a professional mountain bike guide making his living from running mountain bike adventures in Scotland was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2007. Although he didn’t know it then, far from being the end of his mountain bike career and his life, this (apparently) incurable degenerative neurological disease was the start of a different kind of mountain bike journey.

The Indian Pacific Wheel Race – The film
What if you temporarily took leave from the safety of everyday life to battle through a challenge that scares you? What if your only worries were riding, finding food and water and a place to sneak a few hours of sleep? What if you forgot your self-imposed limits just to see what you were truly capable of for once? What if you were a racer at heart? Why wouldn’t you want to take on the toughest races on the planet? An extraordinary group of road cyclists race unsupported 5,500km across Australia from Fremantle to Sydney. The film is dedicated to Mike Hall who was tragically and accidentally killed 300 km from Sydney while he was leading the race.

This wonderful and inspiring family trip leads them to Sweden highest mountain Helags (1797m) and also to Mittaklappen peak (1212m), Kariknallen (1050m) and Funasdalsberget (977m).

Series 1000 Lakes 2019

ÖtillÖ Swimrun 1000 Lakes 2019
This fourth edition of ÖTILLÖ 1000 Lakes saw the young french team “Head – Mat/Sudrunning” – Hugo Tormento & Matthieu Poullain pull away after mid-course from the other front teams for an impressive win. The first all- French winning an ÖTILLÖ World Series race. ÖTILLÖ 1000 Lakes takes place in the area of the thousand lakes (Mecklenburger Seenplatte) just 70 km North of Berlin. The more than 4000 freshwater lakes are surrounded by beautiful Beech tree forests where you feel that you are running in a tunnel of green. The race is 42km long of which 34 km are running and 8 km are swimming.

UTMB Week 2019 – Amazing PTL Race
In the UTMB week, the PTL (Petite Trotte à Léon) occupies a very special place. Much more than impressive numbers (300 km, 26,000 M D +, 152 hours and 30 minutes of max time), this event that runs in teams of two or three is a real human adventure in the heart of the Mont Blanc. The highly technical and impressive route crosses breathtaking landscapes. The awesome PTL footage perfectly reflects the spirit of the UTMB mixing performance, adventure, sharing and nature.

Long Course Weekend, Wales, 2019
The Pembrokeshire Coastal National Park hosts this swim, bike, run event which is made up of three races in three days – the Wales Swim, the Wales Sportive and the Wales Marathon. With each discipline taking place as a separate stage, by the time competitors finish the marathon in the historic coastal resort of Tenby they will have completed an iron-distance triathlon. With thousands taking part, there is legendary crowd support and strong individual competition in each stage, as well as the ultimate prize of being fastest across all three.

Yügen – The Film

UTWT 2019 Episode 7 – Western States
Seventh Episode of our series following the 2019 Edition of the Ultra Trail World Tour. This episode is fully dedicated to the Western States Endurance Run taking place in California and takes the participants through a very demanding 168 km course with 6000 m of positive elevation between Squaw Valley and Auburn.

UTMB Week 2019 – Running & Being

Salomon Golden Trail World Series 2019
Round 5, Pikes Peak Marathon

The 2019 tour calls in Colorado, USA for this iconic challenge. The oldest race on the tour with more than 60 years of history, competitors will face the challenge of high altitude as they climb to the 14 thousand foot summit. This ascent through thin air leaves athletes already drained for a 13 mile downhill on dangerous slopes.

The Road To Independence By Olie Hunter Smart
To discover more of the story of its Independence, Olie Hunter Smart takes on an immense challenge to walk the length of India, a 4,500km journey over seven months seeking out untold stories of Independence and Partition. ÖTILLÖ, the Swimrun World Championship in the Stockholm archipelago is the original race of the new, popular and growing sport of swimrun. The 14th edition of the prestigious race sees 160 teams of two from across the globe trail running and open water swimming for 75 km across the beautiful archipelago. ÖTILLÖ is a gruelling, spectacular race, known as one of the toughest one-day races in the world.

Tri-Factor International Triathlon 2019
For a second year in a row the Tri-Factor International Triathlon is hold in the historic city of Quzhou. The Tri-Factor Asia Series was established 11 years ago in South East Asia and every year has seen it grow in popularity. As the series’ most important event, Quzhou Tri-Factor’s participants come from 12 other regional competitions. Over the year, 15,000 racers in TF events are trying to qualify for Quzhou – the most note-worthy event in the series.  To welcome the upcoming series’ grand finale, Quzhou city and TRI-Factor hold a Triathlon Day training, led by the legendary Cameron Brown, the 12-time IRONMAN world champion from New Zealand.

Round 4, Sierre – Zinal

This 31km run through the Matterhorn range is the fastest in the 2019 series, often coming down to a painful last gasp race for victory, despite the 2200 metres of climbing. The Swiss alps provide an unforgettable backdrop to this classic race. Sierre-Zinal is a legendary trail race because of its nearly five decades of history and revered athletic performances. Kilian Jornet added another chapter to the legend by breaking 16-year old course record and winning the race for 7th time.

8th Rally Di Sardegna 2019
Welcome to Italy, and the magnificent island of Sardinia, for the 8th edition of the Rally of Sardinia bike race. This event takes place over the beautiful scenic landscapes of Sardinia’s Ogliastra region. With 5 stages, this edition of the Rally of Sardinia is 2 stages longer than previous years, making for a more demanding challenge for the riders.
