In this episode, Eric, diving instructor, takes us on L’Espingole a French counter torpedo boat which sank in 1903 after hitting a reef. The 56 m long wreck lies at 40 m depth. Discover its steel skeleton sheltering a rich fauna and flora (groupers, morays, congers …) in a magical atmosphere.

Salomon Golden Trail World Series 2019 – Round 4, Sierre – Zinal
This 31km run through the Matterhorn range is the fastest in the 2019 series, often coming down to a painful last gasp race for victory, despite the 2200 metres of climbing. The Swiss alps provide an unforgettable backdrop to this classic race. Sierre-Zinal is a legendary trail race because of its nearly five decades of history and revered athletic performances. Kilian Jornet added another chapter to the legend by breaking 16-year old course record and winning the race for 7th time.

Nine Mountains
The journey of two cyclists (Leo Russell & George Stagg) on a mission to climb the 9 most challenging and notorious mountains in Europe. From Austria To Spain, Nine Mountains is an adventure of brutality and beauty exploring the limits of the mind and body. The boys cycled over 3,200km from blistering snowstorms to scorching deserts whilst ascending the equivalent of eight times the height of Everest. Wreck Dives on the French Riviera – Le Grec #2
Welcome to a new episode of our series dedicated to wreck diving on the French Mediterranean coast between Toulon and Saint Tropez. In this episode, Eric, diving instructor, takes us to the Sagona called Le Grec. It is a 54 m long Cargo which lies flat on the bottom between 35 m and 47 m. It sank on a mine in December 1945 off the Isle of Porquerolles. The wreckage is impressive. Part of the hull is lined with gorgonians and sponges and is home to abundant wildlife.

A Feather in the West

Wreck Dives on the French Riviera – Le Rubis #2
Welcome to a new episode of our series dedicated to wreck diving on the French Mediterranean coast between Toulon and Saint Tropez. In this episode, Eric, diving instructor, takes us for a second dive to Le Rubis. The Rubis was a Sapphire-class mine-laying submarine which served in the French National Navy during the 2nd World War. It was decommissioned in 1949 and sunk voluntarily in 1958. The wreck of the Ruby lies flat on the sand at a depth of 42 meters off the coast of Cap Camarat. Discover this wonderful wreck which exudes a very special atmosphere. Large groupers will accompany you during the visit.

Salomon Golden Trail World Series 2019 – Round 3, Dolomyths Run Skyrace
Taking place in the fearsome Italian Dolomites range, this 22km race features a 1700 metre climb through the Pordoi Couloir to the summit of Piz Boè – one of the most challenging stages on the 2019 tour

Three Peaks
Mexican ultramarathon runner Alex ‘Chikorita’ Roudayna wanted to see how much she could achieve and decided to use her 24 hours to make history in becoming the first woman to climb three volcanoes in under 24 hours; which included travelling over 500km, oxygen-sapping ascents, treacherous terrain and being stuck in Mexico City rush hour for 2.5 hours. Taking place in Chamonix, France, this second stop of the Salomon Golden Trail World Series takes in the alpine scenery of Mont Blanc on a gruelling 42km course. A marathon distance at it’s origins in 2003, it is a 2730m vertical trail which is rolling in the first part of the course until Vallorcine but very technical in the second half with the mythical passage of the Aiguillette des Posettes.

It’s also a new occasion to admire the stunning performance of the “ultraterrestrial” Kilian Jornet.

ÖtillÖ Swimrun Hvar 2019
The 2019 ÖTILLÖ swimrun season kicked off with a very tough race. It ended up being a hard fought battle for the 3rd edition ÖTILLÖ Swimrun World Series event on the island of Hvar, Croatia. The Mediterranean setting had all the ingredients to make for a spectacular yet very tough swimrun race. The original  40,4 kilometres long course had to be changed as the currents made it to a true test, alternating technical trail running with long, challenging stretches of open-water swimming.

Super League Triathlon – Hamilton Island – Day3 Eliminator
After two action- and drama-packed days of racing, the final day of Super League Hamilton Island is here. The Eliminator format comprises three stages of swim-bike-run with a break between each stage. The break commences when the winner of the preceding stage crosses the finish line. This means every athlete behind the stage winner has even less time to recover. Only the top 15 finishers from Stage 1 will proceed to Stage 2, while only the top 10 finishers from Stage 2 can contend for the win in Stage 3. For every stage, the competitors will swim 300 meters, cycle six kilometers, and run two kilometers.
