Dark Peak Fell Runners
The Dark Peak Fell Runners base themselves in Sheffield, but their playground is the Peak District National Park where they weave tracks through the fields, peat bogs and rocky outcrops to create a tapestry of eccentricity, endeavour and endurance. As one of the biggest pure fell running clubs in the UK, the ‘Dark Peak Fell Runners’ captures the personality, quirks and successes of the club and its members. The film follows in their footsteps to reveal their well-trodden Peak District running routes including the club’s flagship race, the Edale Skyline.

A Feather in the West
In September 2019, a team of talented Irish climbers [Chloe Condron, Kevin Kilroy, Michelle O’Loughlin and Conor McGovern] travelled to the small island of Owey to explore sea cliffs that local guidebook writer Iain Miller claims, have “enough new routing potential to last at least twelve lifetimes”. ‘A Feather in the West’ is a film about their trad climbing experiences and the relatively niche pursuit of first ascents, set on the Wild Atlantic Way, off the west coast of County Donegal.
This Way Up
This Way Up is a ‘broken’ man’s journey by bike through his homeland, Scotland. Andy McKenna, mountain biker since the 1980’s and a professional mountain bike guide making his living from running mountain bike adventures in Scotland was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in 2007. Although he didn’t know it then, far from being the end of his mountain bike career and his life, this (apparently) incurable degenerative neurological disease was the start of a different kind of mountain bike journey. Biking helps to cope, to escape and to keep Andy sane.
