Cape Epic MTB Race, 5 Torri Winter Hike Cortina, Oman Downwinder, World Sailing Show Ep3 and a talk with Ryan Sandes
Cape Epic 2025
The Absa Cape Epic is the world’s premier mountain bike stage race. The route changes every year, leading aspiring amateur and professional mountain bikers from around the world through 650 Untamed kilometres of unspoilt scenery and up 16 500m of climbing. The Absa Cape Epic is classed as UCI Mountain Bike Marathon Series (SSR) by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI); this official UCI status makes it a highlight on the professional racer’s calendar. The Absa Cape Epic also attracts aspiring amateur riders wanting to test themselves against the best.
5 Torri Winter Hike
We snow shoe in the heart of the Dolomites, above Cortina, to the enchanted 5 Torri and stop at the Rifuggio Scoiattolo for refreshments.
Oman Downwinder
The Oman Downwinder movie intents to show Oman and its conditions for wind powered sports. It is a movie that explores behaviours, the Omani hospitality, the landscape and attractions of Oman within the downwinder route and not, exclusively, a movie about kitesufing/Wingfoiling. The movie was designed to explore the experience of professional kiteboarders/wingfoilers (Ambassadors) interacting with amateur riders based in Oman on this 7-day trip along the coast. Apart from the Ambassadors, the movie also explores the Oman Kitesurfing community via local actors and their experiences during the downwinder.
The World Sailing Show 2025 Episode 3
This month on the World Sailing Show we look ahead to this summer’s Ocean Race Europe with race chairman Richard Brisius, join the sailors competing in the Lanzarote International Regatta at the start of the new Olympic cycle and there’s the best of the action from SailGP’s trip to Los Angeles. We also stop off in the Caribbean for the RC44 Cup Nanny Cay and the 16th edition of the RORC Caribbean 600.
