Rwanda-Congo-Uganda Bike Adventure – Part 1
Our friend, bikepacker and adventurer, Michele is back from a just completed epic 800km solo African bike packing adventure on the Congo Nile trail starting in Rwanda, through Congo and finishing in Uganda. He rides the roads and paths in an amazing trek up and down the thousand hills of Rwanda, along the shoreline of famous lakes, through the rain forest, up volcanoes and into national parks encountering monkeys, gorillas, elephants and other wildlife. A truly authentic and unique two wheeled story.
Steelman Triathlon 2019 (Welsh Triathlon Super Series Rd 2)
The second event in the 2019 Welsh Triathlon Super Series takes place against the iconic backdrop of Port Talbot. With a course twice the distance of Round 1, competitors will have to dig deep. The Tata Steelman Triathlon, an Olympic distance event that this year doubles up as the National Championships. There’s a lot at stake.
Skyrunner World Series
Welcome to the Migu Run Skyrunner World Series 2017. The one and only Skyrunning series where the most elite athletes such as Kilian Jornet, Emelie Forsberg or Marco De Gasperi fight for the trophies and the glory. This wrap up takes us to the Madeira Ultra Sky Marathon, the Olympus Marathon – Greece, the Royal Ultra Skymarathon Gran Paradiso Italy, the Salomon Glen Coe Skyline on the breath-taking Ben Nevis in Scottish Highlands and finishes at Lake Garda Italy with the Limone Skyrace.
ÖtillÖ Swimrun Malta 2019
The last ÖTILLÖ Swimrun World Series, the 7th in the year was a tough day out for the racers. Malta showed all sides, big wind from the west and some rain during part of the day made the race course challenging. Most swims were quite protected except for the last ones which got the full force of the wind. The rain made it difficult as the clay ground became slippery and with some comical clay build up under the shoes. This together with the very strong field of racers made the race quite challenging. In total, they covered almost 31 km on foot and 8,7 km swimming making a course distance just less than 40 km with 13 swims in total.
