Bonaqua Action X SPRINT Asia Trail Running Series
The Bonaqua Action X SPRINT Trail Series now in its 16th years is an icon in Hong Kong for many trail runners with over 1000 participating in the series. Almost 400 local and international runners joined the final leg of 2019 Bonaqua Action X Sprint Trail series at Repulse Bay, Hong Kong with no rain that was expected, but instead heavy winds, mist and fog up on 436m high Violet Hill. Over 300 runners entered the Bonaqua Action X SPRINT Trail Series 2nd race at Discovery Bay, Hong Kong. Both 12km and 9km races kicked off with sunshine, fog, mist, and breezes over Lo Fu Tau (465m) the highest point of the 12km race with a total elevation gain of almost 600m.

Via Francigena Bike Tour
The Via Francigena is the common name of an ancient road and pilgrim route running from France to Rome, though it is usually considered to have its starting point on the other side of the English Channel, in the cathedral city of Canterbury. In mediaeval times it was an important road and pilgrimage route for those wishing to visit the Holy See and the tombs of the apostles Peter and Paul. Michele our friend bikepacker is riding from Aosta to Rome; 800 km through Piemonte, Lombardia, the appennines,Tuscany and Lazio, crossing beautiful historical cities such as Pavia, Dan Gimignano, Siena, Bolsena … and finally arriving in the Vatican.

Walks around Britain – Buxton and Chester City
Andrew walks us again through two easy walks. The first walk is in the area of Buxton in Derbyshire. The walk starts from the railway station and follows an ancient railway. Then you cross the Warford wood and walk uphill to the Solomon’s Temple Tower and have a stunning view. The second walk is a city walk on the walls around the city of Chester. You will travel back in time in the historical city and in the Roman ruins.
